Richard Davies’ racehorse Dueling Banjos has notched up a clear win on his debut outing at Worcester.
The 14/1 winner was comfortably first past the post, holding out the prospect of more good things to come.
Starting out to the rear of a close bunch, Dueling Banjos raised the tempo and pushed along six furlongs out, leading with a furlong to go and stretching his lead to the line.
And victory in the two-mile race on October 22 was celebrated in some style at The 21 Club.
The 21 Club is synonymous with Cheltenham horse racing.
Every night during the ‘Paddy Power’ Festival in November and the big one – The Festival – in March, the club is filled with racing’s superstars: jockeys, trainers, owners and royalty alike.
We have hosted the Gold Cup winner’s party for the last 10 years.
